"Neutrino Oscillations -- The 2015 Nobel Prize in Physics"

The 2015 Nobel Prize in Physics has been awarded to Takaaki Kajita and Arthur McDonald for the detection of neutrino oscillations. In this talk we discuss the work that led up to the awarding of the prize. We discuss the physics of neutrino oscillations, and the significance of the result.

REfreshments will be prior to the talk, at 3:30 p.m., in the Gant Complex, Physics Library, Room P-103.
