Understanding IPF as Part of the Overall Scope of ILD and Optimizing Patient Outcomes in IPF Provided by University of Connecticut School of Medicine Office of Community and Continuing Medical Education and the Department of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine

Target Audience: Physicians who are in the field of Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine

Learning Objectives: Participants will (be able to): 1. Utilize a multidisciplinary approach based on ATS/ERS guidelines for diagnosing IPF 2. Use prognostic approaches for IPF 3. Use strategies for mitigating IPF treatment side effects and increasing adherence 4. Formulate a management plan that optimizes collaboration with other care providers Accreditation: The University of Connecticut School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The University of Connecticut School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category I Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
