Join UConn Education Abroad for this information session on UConn in Perugia, Italy and UConn in Florence, Italy!
UConn in Florence will bring you into in the heart of Florence, a city which is a monument to the Renaissance, and which contains more art per square mile than any other place on earth. Its urban texture spans two thousand years of history, and on its streets walked Brunelleschi, Leonardo, Machiavelli, Michelangelo, Galileo, and a host of others who helped shape our world and civilization.
Often called “the big university town in a small Italian city,” Perugia is home to the Umbra Institute, which is the sister-institute to the International Studies Institute in Florence (UConn in Florence Programs). Students can choose from a variety of courses with integrated field trips to world-famous Italian cities and sites, community engagement opportunities, and extra-curricular activities. The diverse Umbra faculty and friendly staff strive to incorporate a genuine Italian experience into all elements of the academic curriculum and student’s experience.
Both programs offer 13-14 graded UConn credits, as well as experiential learning opportunities. Many scholarships are available!
