TITLE: "Will Specialized Early Psychosis Care Change the Course of Schizophrenia?"
Speaker: Lisa Dixon, MD, MPH, Columbia University
Target Audience: UConn Health faculty, residents, medical students, and other mental health professionals.
Learning Objectives: Participants will (be able to): 1. Describe current efforts to disseminate FEP “early intervention” services in the US. 2. Define the ingredients and rationale for Early Intervention Services. 3. Explain the results of follow up studies of existing FEP services.
Accreditation: The University of Connecticut School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
