How do we DO AntU? Join AntU architect Dr. Janine Caira to learn more about this ambitious and truly unique initiative!

Launched by a 2016 NSF Collections in Support of Biological Research award to EEB, the Army Ant Guest project’s ‘Broader Impact’ is quickly expanding as a remarkable university-wide effort. Faculty, staff, volunteers and students are working together across UConn in Creative Writing, Digital Media and Design, Drama, Engineering, Puppetry, Human Rights, and more. Propelled by great teamwork, commitments of regional campuses, multiple schools/colleges, and the recent Provost's academic plan competition award, AntU continues to expand in amazing new ways.

Come Thursday, July 27 for a lively lunchtime presentation by Dr. Caira. Following the talk, we invite you to explore the exhibit and activities, meet members of the AntU team, share YOUR creative ideas, pick-up some fun giveaways, and also tour the collection or greenhouse.

This AntU program is presented by the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and the CT State Museum of Natural History.
