Situated within a U.S. imaginary marked by increased Islamophobia and xenophobia, this lecture considers the ongoing relevance of artist-activist Kazi Nazrul Islam. Known for his life-long dedication to social justice in the face of oppression, Nazrul opposed bigotry in all its forms.
