"A Paradigm Shift in Health Delivery"

Dr. Mukherjee, a physician, educator, and activist, is trained in Infectious Disease, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Public Health. She is Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School, where she teaches health professionals and students from around the world. She is also author of Introduction to Global Health Delivery: Practice, Equity, Human Rights, (Oxford University Press, 2017).

Since 2000, Dr. Mukherjee has served as the Chief Medical Officer of Partners In Health, an international medical charity with programs in the United States, Haiti, Rwanda, Lesotho, Malawi, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Peru, Mexico, Russia, Kazakhstan and the Navajo nation. The work of Partners In Health is featured in the documentary Bending the Arc, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2016.
