Forest Pests Threatening Connecticut

Tuesday, November 13, 2018
10:00am – 12:00pm

Litchfield County Extension Center, 843 University Drive Torrington, CT

Master Gardeners and residents of Connecticut are aware of the dangers posed to our yards and forest lands by the emerald ash borer and hemlock wooly adelgid. We may have forgotten about the Asian longhorn beetle, or may not be aware of other potential invasive insect threats like the spotted lanternfly. The United States Dept. of Agriculture funds an important program to educate the public about the dangers and how we can mitigate them. In addition, we can help residents make decisions about their own land and public property. (Snow date: Nov. 10)
