An exploration of a variety of communication systems, some unique to nonhuman animals, with plenty of examples of how signals and responses to those signals are vital to survival. This presentation will hopefully foster a better understanding and appreciation of the world of communication all around us. UConn Extension's Center for Learning in Retirement (CLIR) provides meaningful and serious intellectual activities for retirees and other adults from all walks of life, conducted in an informal and relaxed atmosphere. There are no academic requirements. A UConn CLIR program.
