Shane Singh is an Associate Professor in the Department of International Affairs within the School of Public and International Affairs (SPIA) at the University of Georgia. He has earned a Ph.D. in Political Science from Michigan State University. The talk is based on his forthcoming American Journal of Political Science article “Compulsory Voting and Parties’ Vote Seeking Strategies.” Professor Singh’s work has appeared in the American Political Science Review, the British Journal of Political Science, Political Research Quarterly, Party Politics, Electoral Studies, the European Journal of Political Research, Political Psychology and many other outlets.
