CORNUCOPIA 5K FUN RUN

The start of the race will be across the street (rt 195) in between the Beach Hall and Holcombe Residence Hall

The UCONN Students of the American Physical Therapy Association (SAPTA) is hosting a FUN RUN 5K in conjunction with the Annual Cornucopia Fest (Hosted by College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources) taking place on Sunday, September 21st.

REGISTRATION TIME: 11AM RACE START: 12PM

FEES: UConn Undergrads - $10 (After Sep 6th - $15) UConn Grads - $10 (After Sep 6th - $15) UConn friends & family - $20 (After Sep 6th - $25)

PRIZES: Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 MEN and WOMEN overall finishers. The first 100 registered for the race will receive a race t-shirt. Prices for registration increase on September 7th so sign up early! Race proceeds will benefit the UConn SAPTA organization.

Runners, walkers, kids and pets are all encouraged to join us for a festive Cornucopia 5k around UConn's beautiful campus!

The run will take place on the beautiful Storrs campus. The start and finish will be located near the festival, and the course will take you past Gampel Pavillion, the new basketball training facility and more! Following the race, participants will be able to paint pumpkins with SAPTA as well as explore the free Cornucopia Fest, which features a guided hike of the UConn forest, hayrides, polo match, BBQ, UConn Dairy Bar ice cream, gardening tips and more!

NOTE: We will be a part of the Cornucopia Challenge! Do the 5K and have your Challenge card stamped on the day of the event.

If you are a UConn student, be sure to bring a valid UConn ID to get appropriate pricing.

The course utilizes UConn's beautiful campus and is 100% road. Maps of the course will be available on race day at the registration table.
