TITLE: "Infertility Psychology – a Primer for all Mental Health Clinicians"

Speaker: Mary Casey Jacob, Ph.D.

Target Audience: UConn Health faculty, residents, medical students, and other mental health professionals.

Learning Objectives: Participants will (be able to): 1. Define and state prevalence of infertility. 2. List the most common psychological symptoms of people living with infertility and the most common appropriate diagnoses. 3. List at least six strategies for helping patients cope with infertility and thus, provide buffers against the development of major mood disorders.

Accreditation: The University of Connecticut School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The University of Connecticut School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Creditâ„¢. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
