Creativity Convergence

Sunday, March 29, 2015
5:30pm – 9:00pm

Storrs Campus
The William Benton Museum of Art at University of Connecticut, 245 Glenbrook Road, Storrs, CT 06269

Are you an artist, musician, animator, writer, puppeteer, or other multi-faceted maker? Do you want to combine talents with complementary creative people? If so, you are invited to sign up for a gathering designed to catalyze interdisciplinary creative projects within the UConn campus community. “Creativity Convergence” will be held at the Benton Museum of Art at University of Connecticut on Sunday, March 29 from 5:30-9pm. The event will highlight a diversity of collaborative interdisciplinary projects, including a preview of a multimedia concert program for soprano, piano, and live animation by “Creativity Convergence” organizers Lucy Fitz Gibbon, Anna Lindemann, and Ryan MacEvoy McCullough. In addition, attendees will share a bit about their own disciplines and interests, and “imagineer” a collaborative project with fellow “Creativity Convergence” participants. Dinner will be provided to all attendees.

To reserve a spot at “Creativity Convergence,” fill out this form by March 12. Students and faculty from across disciplines are encouraged to sign up. Participation availability is limited and reservations are required.

We acknowledge the generous support of the University of Connecticut School of Fine Arts Dean’s Grant and the Office of the Vice President for Research in helping to make this project possible.
