Each year The Nature Conservancy conducts a survey of a former impoundment in Stonington where a dam was removed to identify and address (remove) invasive plants that have sprung up from the seed bank. So far, our surveys (for the last three years) have revealed only single stems of a few invasive species. We have been helped by trained volunteers and plant experts. I’d like to open up the invite to qualified individuals who could help us with the survey work.
