Neag School of Education to Co-Host ”The State of Black Males in the United States: Realities and Resolve"

In honor of Black History Month, the Neag School of Education at UConn is co-sponsoring a panel discussion – featuring six of the University’s African-American male undergraduate students – titled “The State of Black Males in the United States: Realities and Resolve” at the UConn Storrs campus on Wednesday, Feb. 17.

This event is being co-hosted by two UConn organizations: Collective Uplift, whose mission is to empower, educate, and inspire ethnic minorities at UConn in order to maximize their potential as holistic individuals; and Brothers Reaching Out to Society (B.R.O.S.), which strives to develop men committed to academic success, professional development, and community stewardship.
