Alternative Spring Break Trip Gender and Sexual Identity - History, Advocacy, Allyship and Pride
During this week-long alternative break, participants will work with agencies that address the historical and current struggles of the LGBTQ+ community through active community service and hands-on education. In the past, participants have volunteered with LGBTQ+ canvassing organizations, youth groups, and safe-sex agencies. Participants will volunteer in the New York area and head back to campus on Thursday to volunteer and present at the True Colors Conference.
