Congressional Debate on Foreign Policy - 4th District

Monday, October 24, 2016
7:00pm – 8:30pm

Stamford Campus
GenRe Auditorium

JIM HIMES (D) & JOHN SHABAN (R) Moderator: Kay Maxwell, Executive Director, World Affairs Forum

The World Affairs Forum (WAF) and cosponsors Moffly Media, Inc. and the Lukaj Foundation invite the public to join us for the 4th Congressional District Debate on Foreign Policy with candidates Jim Himes (D) and John Shaban (R).

As a non-partisan, non-profit organization focused on bringing speakers and discussion on world affairs to our community, WAF is uniquely qualified to host this debate. As globalization accelerates and world affairs play a larger role in our policy conversations, it is critical that our representatives publicly debate the role of the US in global affairs and voice their opinions on policy that impacts it. It is our intent that the Forum’s debate will help voters in the 4th Congressional District to make an informed decision at the polls in November.

Free and open to the public. No reservations necessary.
