The Differential Approach to the Patient with Early vs Late Stage Breast Cancer

Target Audience: Primary care physicians, medical oncologists, gynecologists, gynecological oncologists, surgical oncologists, radiologists, nurses and any other clinicians involved in the management and treatment of patients with breast cancer.

Learning Objectives: Participants will (be able to): 1. Classify Breast Cancer Subtypes and impact on Treatment Decisions 2. Compare and contrast approach/goals of care in early versus late stage patient 3. Understand agents available and utilization of these in treatment of late stage vs early stage breast cancer Accreditation: The University of Connecticut School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The University of Connecticut School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
