UConn Reads book of choice this year is Sacred Ground: Pluralism, Prejudice, and the Promise of America by Eboo Patel. Patel discusses the politics of Islamophobia and how religious discrimination goes against core American values. This book inspires Americans of all different faiths and religions to make this country a place where diversity can flourish. Eboo Patel will be giving a lecture which will then be followed by time for questions and answers.
