Exhibit Talk: Commemorating “The Great War”

In commemoration of the centennial of the involvement of the United States in World War I, Archives & Special Collections has installed five World War I themed exhibitions located in the Homer Babbidge Library and the Thomas J. Dodd Research Center. On Thursday, we will be joined by the three curators – Betsy Pittman, University Archivist, Allison B. Horrocks ’16 Ph.D., Draper Dissertation Fellow in the Humanities Institute, and Mary M. Mahoney ’12 MA, a doctoral candidate in history to discuss the exhibit and their research. The talk will begin on the Plaza in Homer Babbidge and light refreshments will be served at the end of the talk. The exhibitions are scheduled to be open through May 15, 2017.
