Enhancing Your Backyard Habitat For Wildlife - 2

Saturday, September 30, 2017
10:00am – 12:30pm

Sessions Woods, Burlington

In April, D.E.E.P. Wildlife Biologist Peter Picone led a class at Session’s Woods, where he presented living examples of plants which provide food, conditions and shelter for backyard wildlife. Wildlife habitat has a seasonality to it, and fall brings different food and cover choices for our migratory and non-migratory wildlife. Here is your chance, whether you were lucky enough to have attended the last class or not, to join Peter as we walk a portion of the Beaver Pond Trail at Sessions Woods WMA in Burlington. He will highlight the habitat management activities that have taken place and the valuable seasonal habitat components located along the trail. Some of this class may be held indoors and the rest will be held outdoors to observe these habitats. The class includes about a ¾ mile walk. Dress appropriately! Directions to Sessions Woods will be sent to those who have registered.
