“Immunomodulators in atopic dermatitis”

Speaker: Johnathan Silverberg, MD, PhD, MPH – Assistant Professor of Dermatology, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine Date: Wednesday, November 1, 2017 Time: Lecture: 8am – 9:30am, Patient viewing: 9:30am - 12pm Location: University of Connecticut Health Center, Dermatology Department, 21 South Road, 2nd Floor, Conference Room

Target Audience: UCHC dermatologists and dermatology residents. All other podiatrists, nurses, nurse practitioners, residents, students, and greater Hartford dermatologists are encouraged to attend.

Objectives: Participants will (be able to):

a. Describe the immune mechanisms of atopic dermatitis. b. Identify barriers to successful immunomodulation in atopic dermatitis. c. Discuss treatment considerations for use of immunomodulators in atopic dermatitis.

Accreditation: The University of Connecticut School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The University of Connecticut School of Medicine designates this live educational activity for a maximum of 4 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
