Dr. James Todd (Ohio State University) will be presenting a research talk entitled: "The perceptual analysis of optical structure for the determination of 3D shape, patterns of illumination, and the identification of surface materials."

Dr. Todd is a 1977 PhD from UConn (R.Shaw advisor) who has had a distinguished career in the study of visual perception at OSU.

While here, Dr. Todd and his wife Iris (a UConn MBA) will be recognized as part of a celebration hosted by the UConn Foundation to honor endowed professors.
