Leaf a Mark

Wednesday, November 8, 2017
12:00pm – 2:00pm

Storrs Campus
Fairfield Way

The USG Student Development Committee will have a table on Fairfield Way, from 12-2pm, to be able to interact with members of the UConn community and engage with them regarding the topic of racism. The committee will be asking them the question "What can you do to prevent racism here and everywhere?", and having them write their response on paper oak leaves. The leaves will later be put on a tree wall decal to create a visual display to commemorate the Metanoia somewhere around campus (exact location TBD). Asking members of the UConn community to answer this question allows for an open dialogue between committee members and the UConn community about the Metanoia. Committee members at the table will also be handing out quarter sheet flyers with the times and locations of all the Metanoia events taking place throughout the day.
