TITLE: “New Horizons in Treatment Discovery for Major Depressive Disorder”

Speaker: James W. Murrough, MD, PhD Director, Mood and Anxiety Disorders Program Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Neuroscience Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Mount Sinai Health System

Learning Objectives: Participants will (be able to):

1. Gain knowledge concerning the neurobiology and pathophysiology of major depressive disorder (MDD), including newly identified molecular targets for treatment intervention.

2. Discuss new developments in current treatment discovery effects for MDD, including new approaches focusing on the glutamate system and the inflammatory system.
