In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the Women Law Students' Association and the Human Rights Law Association present the panel discussion, The Intersection of Asylum Law and Domestic Violence. The panel discussion will provide an engaging and thought-provoking discussion on the recent changes to asylum law that remove domestic violence and gang violence as a legitimate basis for asylum seekers. Panelists include UConn Law professors and local practitioners that work in immigration and asylum law. Lunch will also be served.
