Explore the New Exhibit with All-Ages Activities and Giveaways: • Travel into the virtual jungle to learn more about field work and collecting • Check out hands-on activities created by Digital Media & Design students • Discover the Biodiversity Research Collections and go on a fun scavenger hunt • Examine some specimens under the microscopes • Take a photo with Carl & Marian in the jungle • Share your ideas and help us plan our next exhibit

2:00pm: Babbidge Library, Class of 1947 Room (Plaza Level)

Get an inside look at the truly unique AntU initiative with Dr. Janine Caira , Director of the CT State Museum of Natural History and Distinguished Professor in the Department of Ecology and Biology. With content driven by the incredibly complex biological system of army ants and their guests, UConn faculty, staff and students across the university have been working together on amazing projects. Joined by students and faculty from Digital Media & Design--whose creative contributions made this exhibit possible--Dr. Caira will talk about recent achievements and the exciting future ahead for AntU.

This event is FREE and open to the public.
