Seminar Title: Interpreting the Human Genome Through High-Throughput Cellular Microbiology

The Department of Molecular and Cell Biology welcomes Dr. Dennis Ko, Assistant Professor in the Department of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology from Duke University, as part of the MCB Seminar Series. Dr. Ko works to make discoveries in the functional consequences of diversity in host-pathogen interactions and to translate these findings into novel diagnostic and therapeutic approaches. He received training through Stanford’s MSTP with Dr. Matthew Scott and as a postdoc with Dr. Samuel Miller at the University of Washington. He has had an independent research program at Duke since 2012.
