UConn Vegetable IPM Field Workshop

Join UConn Extension Faculty at the Plant Science Research Farm to learn about important vegetable IPM tools and practices. Classroom and farm field sessions will cover IPM basics and new ecologically-based pest management tactics being tested. Session topics include:  Brassica Insect Pest Scouting & Identification  Insectary Plants  Beneficial Insect Identification  Mulches for Weed Management  Plant Diagnostic Lab Updates  Plants for Pollinators and more __________________________________________________  There is no cost to attend this workshop but registration by Aug. 11 is required.  Space is limited - reserve your spot today!  Register online (preferred) at this link: or call 860-486-0572 to register by phone.  Dress appropriately for walking to fields and spending some time outdoors.  Refreshments will be available.  Location: UConn Plant Science Research and Education Facility 59 Agronomy Road, Storrs.
