We All Live in a Watershed: Challenges and Opportunities for Water Security

Presenter: Indrajeet Chaubey, Dean, College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources, UConn

An overview of water availability and water quality issues related to food production and environmental sustainability, discussing work by Dr. Chaubey’s research group and how to utilize a systems approach to address eco-hydrologic issues at field, watershed, and river basin scales.

This event is hosted by UConn Extension CLIR, our lifelong learning program. CLIR provides meaningful and serious intellectual activities for retirees and other adults from all walks of life, conducted in an informal and relaxed atmosphere. There are no academic requirements. The semester fee is $25, and you can attend as many classes as you want during the semester. For more information visit
