Non-equilibrium Processes in Atomic Science, Astrophysics, and Biology

Non-equilibrium processes arise in transitions between different steady /equilibrium states. Experimental and theoretical investigations of these processes are most formidable tasks for researches in various scientific disciplines, including quantum mechanics, plasma physics, astrophysics, climate change, and biology. Examples of theoretical analysis of non-equilibrium processes in atomic physics, astrophysics, and biology will be discussed and current research projects will be described.
