SIGMA Seminar
Rectifiability of Sets of Measures
Lisa Naples (UConn)

Friday, September 27, 2019
12:20pm – 1:20pm

Storrs Campus
MONT 214

A rectifiable curve is a compact connected set of finite length. In this talk, I will introduce the notion of a rectifiable set, that is, a set that is contained in a rectifiable curve. I will also present a condition that characterizes rectifiable sets. Finally, I will explain how we can study the structure of measures in terms of their interaction with rectifiable curves.
