TITLE: "Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for Hoarding Disorder"

Speaker: David Tolin, Ph.D., ABPP, The Institute of Living/Hartford Hospital

Target Audience: UConn Health faculty, residents, medical students, and other mental health professionals

Learning Objectives: Participants will (be able to): 1. Describe psychological mechanisms thought to underlie hoarding symptoms. 2. Use decision-making and emotion regulation skill training to reduce saving and acquiring behaviors. 3. Discuss the application of motivational enhancement strategies in the treatment of hoarding.

Accreditation: The University of Connecticut School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The University of Connecticut School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
