Students who are Pell grant recipients and have U.S. citizenship are eligible to apply for the Gilman Scholarship. This is a nationally competitive scholarship that awards up to $5000 for participation in an education abroad program, with additional funding possible for students studying a critical language. Eligible students who are completing applications for cycle two of the Gilman Scholarship can drop-in for advising with representatives from both Education Abroad and the National Scholarships and Fellowships Office on Wednesday, February 5 from 1-4 p.m. in the Education Abroad Office. A drop-in appointment is a great time to have questions answered and application materials reviewed before the Tuesday, March 3rd application deadline!
