Combinatorial Triangles
Tom Roby (UConn)

Many interesting combinatorial numbers are not just linear sequences (like the Fibonacci numbers), but two-dimensional sequences (like binomial coefficients) that we often arrange in a triangular array. We will discuss intriguing examples that come up in various parts of combinatorics, associated with such names as Bernoulli, Entringer, Euler, Pascal, and Stirling, including the boustrophedon.
