The MCB Undergraduate Research Symposium is an opportunity to showcase the research accomplishments of the department’s undergraduate students. The three best presentations will be invited to participate in the All Biology Symposium on Monday 26th April.

2:50 pm Emily Kilian, MCB Major Advisor: Dr. Elizabeth Kline and Dr. Sharon Smith Title: Language Acculturation Traits and BMI in Hispanic-American Children

3:10 pm Julia Horan, Biological Sciences Major Advisor: Dr. David Knecht Title: Chemokinesis of soil amoeba Dictyostelium discoideum

3:30 pm Eman Ahmed, Physiology and Neurobiology Major Advisor: Dr. Leighton Core Title: Analysis of Timing of Transcriptional Readthrough Events in Mitosis
