TITLE: "Inflammatory Depression: What We Know And Where We Need To Go"

Speaker: Mark Rapaport, MD, CEO of the Huntsman Mental Health Institute, The William H. and Edna D. Stimson Presidential Endowed Chair, and the Chair and Professor of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Utah School of Medicine

Target Audience: UConn Health faculty, residents, medical students, and other mental health professionals

Learning Objectives: Participants will (be able to): 1. Identify the challenges in measuring inflammation. 2. Analyze the difference between an acute stress response and a chronic inflammatory state. 3. Interpret the limitations of our current anti-inflammatory therapies.

Accreditation: The University of Connecticut School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The University of Connecticut School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
