Empowering Young Women: A Panel Discussion

Join UConn's inaugural cohort of BOLD Fellows for an honest conversation on their experiences as young professional women navigating the workplace. Everything from the lessons learned, challenges encountered, to the triumphs celebrated will be discussed. The panel will be moderated by Dr. Jennie Weiner, Associate Professor of Educational Leadership from the Neag School of Education. During the past academic year, the 3 Helen Gurley Brown BOLD Fellows worked at non-profit organizations that aligned with their career goals and values: Xinyu Lin (Civil Engineering & Environmental Engineering B.S.E.) at City Fabrick in Long Beach, CA, Tanya Miller (Physiology and Neurobiology B.S.) at Science Club for Girls in Cambridge, MA, and Thalia Fuentes (Political Science B.A. & Management B.S.) at Capital Workforce Partners in Hartford, CT.
