Speakers: Dr. Michael Weber, Dr. Thomas McDonald, Dr. Olga Solovyova & Dr. Craig Rodner Target Audience: Faculty, staff, and trainees at the UConn Health Center

Learning Objectives: Participants will (be able to): 1. Analyze the research and determine if a short life expectancy should impact surgical treatment of spinal metastases 2. Understand the technique and efficacy in performing ankle fracture fixation with WALANT. 3. Assess the data and understand that outpatient hip and knee arthroplasty does not lead to higher opioid use compared to inpatient. 4. Determine that outcomes are likely not improved between patients with and without SL ligament injuries that do not have SL ligament repairs in surgically treated intra articular distal radius fractures. The University of Connecticut School of Medicine designates this journal-based CME activity for a maximum of 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
