Maintaining public planted spaces in Willimantic. Volunteers will be removing invasive, non-native plants, laying cardboard to prevent regrowth, and, in some areas, preparing ground and planting wildflowers and native shrubs. Students should wear closed shoes, long pants and bring a water bottle. UConn Community Outreach Transportation will be provided to and from the service site.
