Connection: Exploring the Science of Mindfulness and Relationships

Virtual workshop led by Vamsi Koneru, PhD

Monday, October 18, 2021 @ 6:00-8:00pm

When we consider what we need to survive and thrive, our experience in meaningful relationships is the most important. Being socially connected promotes greater health and resilience and is at the core of our happiness and life satisfaction.

So how do we cultivate flourishing relationships? Deeper connection and satisfaction in relationships is linked to higher levels of mindfulness.

Our brains are social organs and that means that we are wired to interact and bond with one another. We will deeply explore this concept by considering the science of mindfulness and relationships as well as by sharing in several mindfulness practices that promote internal reflection, compassion, and connection.
