Mathematics REU Talk Series- Brownian Motion on Lie Groups
Speaker: Marco Carfagnini, University of Connecticut
Abstract: In this talk we discuss how to define Brownian motions on a curved space, more precisely we will focus on a construction on Lie groups. We will discuss the main ideas through a few examples. No prior knowledge on lie groups is required.
